KHA Partners with Hope to Destiny for Youth to Inspire Future Leaders Through S.T.E.A.M.

Kinston Housing Authority recently partnered with Hope to Destiny for Youth in support of its annual S.T.E.A.M. Event, a community initiative dedicated to inspiring students through hands-on learning and educational enrichment.

At Kinston Housing Authority we believe that the foundation of strong communities is built on investing in future generations. On May 30, 2026, the event highlighted the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.) while fostering confidence and a passion for learning, creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. Students explored hands-on experiments, interactive learning stations, and educational exhibits while being exposed to future educational and career opportunities.

The event's success was made possible through the collaboration of community organizations, educational institutions, volunteers, and families who share a commitment to empowering the next generation. Kinston Housing Authority was honored to stand alongside partners such as East Carolina University, NC State University, the University of Houston, and other community stakeholders in supporting this meaningful initiative.

KHA remains committed to supporting initiatives that enhance educational outcomes and strengthen the communities we serve. We thank Hope to Destiny for Youth and all participants for making this event a memorable and impactful experience for students throughout our area.
