Terri Howard Graduates FSS Program

Congratulations to Terri Howard, recent graduate of Kinston Housing's Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program! Terri successfully completed the Public Housing FSS program in November 2023, and plans to become a homeowner within the next two years. Terri prepared herself for financial independence by decreasing her debts, increasing her income, and raising her credit scores. Way to go, Terri!

The purpose of the program is to assist families in completing measurable goals in education, financial training, and job training with emphasis on improving earning potential and developing credit readiness.

Over the course of the multi-year program, FSS participants work to become financially independent of public assistance and move toward homeownership.
